Elk Grove is a seemingly thriving community, so why do we need the Elk Grove Community Food Bank Services? Hunger can strike people from all economic backgrounds and we are here to help those in need in the Elk Grove community live the life they deserve.
Not only do we serve emergency food and clothing through the Elk Grove Food Bank and the Elk Grove Clothes Closet, but we also run the Elk Grove Community Garden, teaching families and individuals how to grow their own food, hopefully lessening their need for us.
We also operate a program called Helping Hand, where we offer counseling and resources to help individuals and families overcome personal challenges to get back on their feet and lead productive, healthy lives.
